Our Rest Stop Partners

Fowler:  Hosted by Edwin Blaney Senior Center of Fowler, the rest stop is located at the Panzak Park at the corner of 3rd and Merced St.  This beautiful setting is tempting to take a break, enjoy their delicious spread and energies yourself for the rest of the day.

Kingsburg:  Located on the corner of Marion St. and Lewis St. in downtown Kingsburg. As in the previous years, the rest stop his generously hosted by members of Kingsburg Kiwanis.  Create the opportunity to explore this charming Swedish Town and its hospitality.

Winton Park:  The Park near Pine Flat Dam is one of the well know rest stops for the Valley cyclists.  Courtesy of Edward Gonzales of Active Life Insurance Solutions, the rest stop reflects the free spirit of the cyclists who enjoy being in the nature and exploring new places.   

Reedley:  The Cricket Hallow Park by Reedley beach is the rest stop location.  The local Chamber of Commerce and Reedley business community welcome you to Reedley. Take a rest and enjoy this scenic and culming site of the river.  

Sanger:  Located on Lincoln Park on Cherry Ave., the students of Interact Club at Sanger High School enthusiastically welcome you to their most favorite town – Sanger!  Voted as their top choice by the riders, at the rest stop you could enjoy abundance of freshly picked fruits. 

Orange Cove:  Century riders will have a blast at the JD Eaton Memorial Park, located on the corner of Central St. and Park Blvd. where you will be served freshly squeezed Orange juice. Only in Orange Cove!   

Parlier:  One of the backbones of valley’s agro-business, here is where you meet members of the farming community that help pick and pack valley grown fruits and vegetables that we purchase at grocery stores nationwide! The rest stop will be in front of the city hall.  

Selma:  Water Stop located in Lincoln Park on the South East corner of Rose and McCall Ave. This year again volunteers at Selma Care are hosting the rest stop.  While there, take advantage and visit Selma Car Show that takes place at the park. 

The Vineyards at California Armenia Home:  All rides will start and finish from the beautiful grounds of The Vineyards at California Armenian Home located on 6720 E. Kings Canyon Rd., Fresno, CA 93727. At the end of the ride participants will enjoy delicious freshly cooked meals at the grounds of the California Armenian Home. 

You will also have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the new complex at The Vineyards, The tour guide will be offered every 30 minutes starting form 11:00 am till 3:30pm. Explore the Complex which is open to all who are in search of Independent Living, Assistant Living, Memory Care (for our loved ones suffering from Alzheimer and Dementia) and Skilled Nursing.

Explore the Heartland of America – the Fruit Basket of the World!

The 10th Annual Tour de Fresno Charity Bike Ride will start and finish from the beautiful grounds of recently expended The Vineyards at California Armenian Home, located at 6720 E. Kings Canyon Rd., Fresno, CA 93727.

The Ride is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 15, 2018!  

On-Line Registration is open.

The five different route options provide the participants with a great opportunity to explore the heartland of America, the fruit basket of the world! Join the ride and learn about people who live and work on farmlands, where fresh fruits are produced and end up in our kitchen.  

The route options include: Century, Metric Century, Fresno County Ride, Half Century, and Family friendly routes with rest stops provided at the cities of Fowler, Selma, Kingsburg, Parlier, Reedley, Del Ray, Orange Cove, Winton Park and Sanger, prior to returning to Fresno!  

The routes are planned with the purpose of enjoying the cool morning temperatures and the opportunity to return back to the finish line by noon or early afternoon and thereby avoiding mid-afternoon Valley heat. This year again we are avoiding Belmont Ave. completely until all possible construction and road impairment activities have been completed.  

At the end of the rides participants will enjoy delicious freshly cooked meals just for you at the grounds of the California Armenian Home.
